Make a one-time payment of EUR 10,000 to the state budget.
Additionally, applicants must demonstrate financial capability to support their family's lifestyle without relying on social assistance from the Latvian government. The required annual funds are as follows:
EUR 15,480 for a single main applicant
EUR 20,640 for a main applicant and spouse
EUR 22,188 for a married couple with one child
Document processing typically takes a timeframe of approximately 30 to 90 days.
Family members, including the spouse and children under 18, have the option to apply for a residence permit concurrently with the main applicant as dependents.
After receiving approval from the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, the investor is required to visit Latvia in person within three months to obtain their temporary residence permit in the form of an ID card.
The validity of the residence permit extends for 5 years, with an annual obligation for ID card renewal.
No minimum number of days of physical presence in Latvia required to renew the residence permit, so you'll have the flexibility to travel and stay outside Latvia, especially if you're conducting business or working in another country. This is particularly suitable for individuals employed in Gulf countries who aspire to attain European residency for themselves and their families.
